I’m a strong believer of ‘practise what you preach’. If I’m honest with you guys I wasn’t really in that position for the last few months, so much so I had to start seeing a psychological therapist to help with my anxiety/low-mood and was put on medication which has helped a great deal (the former…the latter, not so much).
I’ve just finished my exams, and start my year internship in July. So things are great at the moment and I’m starting to feel like myself again, not that I entirely know myself as I’ve been hiding away from her for years!
I’ve been watching quite a few TEDx talks lately (procrastination from revision, much?) and some are very inspirational which I’ll post when I find them all again. And Im following the words of one speaker Jeff Nelsen ‘Believe in ourselves and help each other believe in themselves and share our stuff’
One did lead to me to creating a list of things I like about myself which I’ll post. I strongly encourage others to do so too, maybe not 10 things (12 in my case as I hated the blank space!) maybe start with 5 things? and if you send them to me I’ll reblog them to publicise your amazingness!
